HEIC to JPG Converter

Convert iPhone HEIC and HEIF photos to standard JPG or PNG, drop in one or many and download universally compatible images. Decoded and converted in your browser; nothing is ever uploaded.

Each converted photo appears here with a download button.

How it works

HEIC is the high-efficiency format iPhones use. Each photo is decoded with the heic2any engine and re-encoded as a JPG or PNG that any device can open.

Your photos are decoded and converted entirely in your browser, nothing is ever uploaded.

What this does

A HEIC to JPG converter turns iPhone HEIC and HEIF photos into standard JPG or PNG images that open on any device, app, or website.

How to use it

  1. Drop in one or more HEIC/HEIF photos.
  2. Pick JPG or PNG output.
  3. Set the JPG quality if needed.
  4. Download each converted image.

How it works

Each photo is decoded and re-encoded entirely in your browser, so nothing is ever uploaded. The original HEIC is left untouched — you download a separate copy.

Example

An iPhone IMG_1234.HEIC becomes a universally readable IMG_1234.jpg.

Frequently asked questions

What is HEIC and why convert it?

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the format iPhones use to save space, but many Windows apps, older devices and websites cannot open it. Converting to JPG or PNG makes the photo work everywhere.

Will I lose quality?

JPG is lossy, so choose a higher quality for the best result; PNG is lossless but produces larger files. Either way the original HEIC is left untouched, you download a separate copy.

Can I convert several photos at once?

Yes. Drop or select multiple HEIC/HEIF files and each is converted separately, with its own download button.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Everything is calculated locally in your browser.
