Dice Roller
Roll any dice using standard notation (2d6, 1d20+5, 4d8-2) or tap a quick die (d4–d100). See every individual roll and the total, generated fairly in your browser.
How it works
Dice notation is written as NdS: roll N dice each with S sides.
So 3d6 rolls three six-sided dice. You can add a flat modifier (1d20+5) or
combine groups (2d6+1d4). A missing count means one die, so d20 equals 1d20.
A coin flip is just a two-sided die: each coin lands heads or tails with equal odds. Flip several at once to see the running heads/tails tally.
Every die is rolled independently and uniformly using your browser's cryptographically secure random generator, the same source used for real security tools, so the rolls are genuinely fair.
Nothing is sent anywhere. Rolls happen entirely in your browser.
What this does
A dice roller rolls any dice using standard notation — 2d6, 1d20+5, 4d8-2 — or a quick tap of a single die (d4–d100), showing every roll and the total.
How to use it
- Type the dice notation.
- Or tap a quick die.
- Read each individual roll.
- Read the total.
How it works
Each die is rolled independently and uniformly with your browser’s secure random generator. A missing count means one die, so d20 equals 1d20.
NdS = roll N dice of S sides, then add modifiers
Example
1d20+5 rolls one 20-sided die and adds 5.

Frequently asked questions
What dice notation is supported?
Standard NdS notation: N dice with S sides each, plus optional modifiers and groups, for example 3d6, 1d20+5 or 2d6+1d4-1. A missing count means one die, so d20 equals 1d20.
Are the rolls fair?
Yes. Each die is rolled independently and uniformly using your browser’s cryptographically secure random generator, so the results aren’t biased or predictable.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. All rolls happen locally in your browser; nothing is transmitted.
