About angle conversions
Enter a value and choose the units to convert between. Each angle unit is defined against a single base unit, so any pair lines up consistently, the table shows your value in every angle unit at once.
What this does
An angle converter changes an angle between degrees, radians, gradians, arcminutes, arcseconds, and full turns.
How to use it
- Enter a value and pick its unit.
- Choose the unit to convert to.
- Read the converted result instantly.
- Swap the units to reverse the conversion.
How it works
Each value is converted to degrees first and then to the target unit. A full circle is 360 degrees, 2π radians, 400 gradians, or one turn. A degree divides into 60 arcminutes, and each arcminute into 60 arcseconds.
radians = degrees × π ÷ 180
Example
180 degrees is π radians (about 3.14159), and 90 degrees is 1.5708 radians. One full turn is 360 degrees.
