How it works

Understanding your result
Tonnage is based on the compacted thickness, so order a little over, because the loose mix compresses as it is rolled and a thin patch fails first. A lasting driveway depends as much on a solid, well-drained base as on the asphalt depth, so treat the material figure as only one part of a job that usually rewards professional paving.
