Subscriber Goal Calculator

Estimate how long it will take to reach a subscriber or follower goal at your current daily pace, in days, weeks and months. Calculated in your browser.

Show the math

Divide the gap that's left by your steady daily gain:

days = (goal − current) ÷ daily gain

This is a straight-line estimate at your current pace. Growth often compounds as your audience grows, so a viral post or a quiet spell will move the date. All math runs in your browser.

What this does

A subscriber goal calculator estimates how long it will take to reach a subscriber or follower goal at your current daily pace, in days, weeks, and months.

How to use it

  1. Enter your current count.
  2. Enter your goal.
  3. Enter your average daily gain.
  4. Read the time to goal.

How it works

It is a straight-line estimate at your current pace. A zero daily gain never closes the gap; growth often compounds, so you may arrive sooner.

days = (goal − current) ÷ daily gain

Understanding your result

The estimate assumes the current pace holds in a straight line, so it stretches out if growth stalls and shortens if it accelerates, while a zero or negative daily gain never reaches the goal. Use it to set a realistic timeframe, then revisit it as your actual pace changes.

Example

2,000 to go at 20 a day is about 100 days.

Frequently asked questions

How is the time to goal worked out?

The remaining gap (goal minus current) is divided by your average new subscribers per day to give the number of days, which is then shown in weeks and months too.

Why does it say "never" sometimes?

If your average daily gain is zero, the gap never closes, so no finite date can be given. Enter a positive daily gain to see an estimate.

Does it account for faster growth?

No — it is a straight-line estimate at your current pace. Growth often compounds as your audience grows, so you may reach the goal sooner.
